Artemis Hospitality is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts payable clerk to join our finance team. As a Accounts payable clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Please note this is a partial-remote position. Some days will be onsite at office in West Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
Perform financial report writing to communicate financial information to management
Conduct financial audits to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support corporate finance initiatives
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using accounting software
Process accounts and outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting.
Verify discrepancies by and resolve issues.
Assist in invoice processing & preparation of weekly check runs.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles
Proficiency in auditing procedures
Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Advanced proficiency in using accounting software
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
