Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a Premier Metal Stamping and Manufacturing company in its search for a Stamping Engineer in the city of Brea, CA. This is a Direct Hire position and offers 1st shift. Salary 110k to 120k, awesome benefits and room for growth

Job Description Summary: Design progressive, compound dies in addition to plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes for stamping machines.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, Authorities:

Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods
Design metal stamping dies, using SOLIDWORKS with Logopress
Research and design manufacturing processes

Analyze and plan:

Workforce utilization
Space requirements
Workflow
Design layouts of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency

Estimate:

Production times
Staffing requirements
Related costs
Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements
Address customer inquiries
Develop tools to produce parts in alignment with customer and quality requirements
Troubleshoot stamping dies and processes
Any other duties as assigned

Knowledge, skills, abilities, other:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
A minimum of 7 years of experience in stamping, preferably metal manufacturing

Knowledge of:

Tooling design
Materials and parts in the metal fabrication process
Tooling and production equipment capabilities
Assembly methods
GD&T
AutoCAD or SOLIDWORKS with Logopress or similar 2D and 3D CAD software
Critical-thinking skills
Strong math skills
Good problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Good listening skills
