We are seeking Pest Control Apprentices to join our team in Los Angeles, CA (Studio City/Tarzana). Qualified candidates must be customer service oriented, have a positive attitude, eager to learn and interested in long-term career growth. At HomeShield, we are looking to raise and develop talent that will catapult their professional and personal lives to new heights.

JOB SUMMARY

Perform thorough inspections and treatments of customer’s homes /businesses
Prepare proposals and presentations based on inspection findings to obtain sales
Educate and communicate with our customers on both service and sales solutions/recommendations
Reach target service and sales goals
Continually refine skills and knowledge

REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license and good driving history
Maintains a regular and punctual attendance
High character, be willing to do the right thing
Strong written skills to properly document services and findings
Effectively communicate with customers, co-workers and subcontractors to express ideas and technical concepts to problem solve
Ability to organize workload effectively and work with a sense of urgency
Committed to customer service satisfaction and good safety practices
Ability to routinely lift, push and pull equipment, ascend and descend from ladders, and occasionally work at heights
Must be able to pass state exams to legally perform contracted work (training & state licensing fee provided)
