Key Air Conditioning Contractors, Inc., has an immediate opening in Santa Fe Springs, CA for an Accountant who ideally has construction experience. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree, with a Major in Accounting
A minimum 2 years’ employment in the Accounting field
Excellent customer service skills
A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
English reading and writing fluency

Responsibilities will include:

Generating invoices
Following through on the collections of Accounts Receivable
Occasionally assisting the Payroll Supervisor with in-house payrolls
Performing bank account reconciliations
Assisting in the preparation of month-end journal entries
Preparing the following:
- Sales tax reports for monthly prepayments and quarterly reconciliations with the final payments
- Cashflow reports
- Monthly customer statements
- Monthly work-in-process reports
- Weekly cost tracking reports for the Company’s owners
- Analyzing General Ledger accounts
- Assisting the Company’s Service Manager with matters relative to the Service Department
Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Controller, the Controller or Company owners.
