Legal Corner Law Office is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper/Accountant! If you enjoy working with numbers, staying organized, and playing a vital role behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly, this is the perfect role for you.

As a Bookkeeper/Accountant at Legal Corner, you will be responsible for managing financial records and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments across key departments, including Workers’ Compensation, Employment Law, and Property Damage.

Your role will involve:

Managing and recording checks and transactions for multiple departments
Tracking payments, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining up-to-date financial records
Working closely with department heads to ensure proper fund allocation and payment follow-ups
Assisting with general accounting tasks and monthly reconciliation
Monitor accounts and ensure timely updates on all incoming and outgoing checks
Provide regular reports on payment statuses and outstanding balances
Identify and troubleshoot payment issues or delays with internal teams
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial documentation

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

1 year of bookkeeping, accounting, or relevant experience (Preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple financial accounts across departments
Excellent communication skills and a high level of integrity

Pay: $23.00–$28.00 per hour
