Warehouse Order Picker - Full-time day shift - $19-$20

Our Eastvale location is looking for an experienced Order Picker for our shipping department. Warehouse associate's work involves the skills of a forklift operator, order puller, picker, receiving, replenishment, inventory, and freight processor in a fast-paced distribution environment while following warehouse guidelines. The schedule available for this position is the day shift: Monday - Friday (8:30 a.m. to finish).

Will hire applicants that live in surrounding cities: Ontario, Riverside, Chino, Corona, Pomona, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Mira Loma, Diamond Bar, etc.

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Order Picker is responsible for assisting the shipping department(s) in the coordination of order picking, preparation, and shipping of the company's product in a manner consistent with speed emphasis and a goal-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities:

Assists in expediting the daily workflow of the shipping and receiving team.
Navigates facilities designated inventory aisles in a safe and efficient manner to ensure an optimized picking schedule.
Item processing, including but not limited to unboxing, tapping, labeling, packaging, and palletizing as needed.
Receives instructions directly from the warehouse supervisor in regard to coordinating the movement of picked product products, in processing goods or completing shipments.
Administers strategies meant to optimize organizational inventory levels.
Uses working knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices.
General warehouse maintenance to maintain a clean working area and facilities.
Restoration of product returns, ensuring the product has been cleaned, tested, re-packaged, and sorted according to company policy.
Assists in inventory duties such as cycle counting and others when needed.
Inbound container receiving which involves unloading the containers we receive through the lumping method and palletizing them according to company policy.

Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in the professional field.
Uses standard theories, principles, and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.
Provides direct or indirect supervision to a process, assigning tasks and checking work at frequent intervals.
Judgment is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.

Qualifications

3-5+ years of related experience required.
Applicable industry/professional certification preferred, but not required.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Ability to work overtime.
Experience in Machine Operating Equipment such as (Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, forklifts, ETC.)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
