**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller/Bookkeeper to join our team. Do NOT apply unless you have either Medical Biller (Ophthalmology or Optometry) and/or Clinical Research experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Must be familiar with Excel. Candidates without the prerequisite experience will be automatically declined.

**Duties:**

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Perform account reconciliations

- Prepare and process payroll

- Maintain the general ledger

- Record journal entries

- Conduct general ledger reconciliation

- Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in accounting principles

- Experience with account reconciliation

- Knowledge of debits and credits

- Familiarity with public accounting practices

- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation

- Competence in using accounting software for financial management

- Strong understanding of journal entries

- Attention to detail in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
