Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on the sales floor, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing staff effectively. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to maintain a positive work environment while driving sales and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of floor staff to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct employee orientation and training to enhance team capabilities and service quality.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock control, ordering, and loss prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and assist with scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Implement retail management strategies to achieve sales targets and promote product offerings.
- Foster a positive team environment by encouraging collaboration and effective communication among staff members.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, utilizing strong phone etiquette.
- Monitor sales performance and provide feedback to staff on areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while promoting a safe working environment.
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in retail management or as an assistant manager.
- Proficient in inventory control practices and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Ability to sell products effectively while providing exceptional customer service.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience in payroll processing is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of employee orientation processes to onboard new staff effectively.
