Salary
$25.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule
Part-time 20-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexible schedule 9AM-2PM or 8:30AM-12:30PM.

Full Job Description
Slater Cosme, PC, Attorneys at Law is a dynamic Pasadena law firm of five attorneys and four supporting team members specializing in trusts, estate planning, real estate, business law, and litigation in those practice areas. We are currently interviewing for a part-time Administrative Assistant with one to three years office experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and other team members;
- Use software applications for data entry, scanning and archiving files, recording transactions, and basic bookkeeping such as A/R and A/P
- Answer calls, provide friendly greeting to callers, process incoming mail, and forward to appropriate team member;
- Take inventory of office and kitchen supplies and place orders for replenishment;
- Maintain and update physical and electronic files and records; scan physical files and save to appropriate locations in the firm’s document management system;
- Assist attorneys with retrieving files, scanning, saving, sharing, and archiving documents as requested and needed;
- Assist with monthly client billing and reminders
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to learn basic legal terminology.
- Ability to lift files and boxes as needed up to approximately 15 lbs. for storage, archive, moving, or coordination of destruction.
