Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning and refrigeration. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and effectively while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC/R systems to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
- Install new HVAC systems and appliances according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and schematics to assess system functionality.
- Plumb gas lines for heating systems as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Experience
- Previous experience as a service technician in the HVAC industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques is a plus.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to work with refrigerants and various HVAC tools.
- Knowledge of schematics related to HVAC systems is essential.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC or related fields are advantageous.

Pay: $25.00 - $37.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
