Job Summary:
The Associate Brand Manager will play a key role in driving the strategic vision and growth of Ardell's lash product portfolio. This position is responsible for supporting brand strategy, executing marketing initiatives, and contributing to product development to ensure our products resonate with our target audience and maintain a competitive edge in the market. The ideal candidate is a creative, analytical, and collaborative professional with a passion for the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Marketing:
· Support the development and execution of brand strategies to enhance brand equity and drive consumer engagement.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling campaigns, including digital, social media, and in-store activations.
· Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to inform brand positioning and messaging.
· Manage content creation for product launches, including packaging copy, social media assets, and promotional materials.
· Create slides and presentations for product development concepting and research, sales & market analysis, brand strategy, new product launch decks, and sales presentations.
Product Development:
· Assist in the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with brand vision and market needs.
· Work closely with R&D, packaging, and supply chain teams to develop innovative, high-quality beauty products (e.g., lashes, glue etc).
· Conduct consumer research and gather feedback to inform product formulations, packaging, and positioning.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet regulatory, safety, and sustainability standards.
· Monitor product performance post-launch and recommend optimizations based on sales data and consumer feedback.
Project Management:
· Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables for brand campaigns and product launches.
· Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., creative, sales, operations) and external partners (e.g., agencies, vendors) to ensure seamless execution.
· Track and report on key performance metrics for brand initiatives and product performance.
Consumer & Market Insights:
· Leverage data and analytics to understand consumer preferences and identify opportunities for growth.
· Stay updated on beauty industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies to keep the brand competitive.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
· 2-4+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or product development, preferably in the beauty or consumer goods industry.
· Strong understanding of the beauty industry, including trends, competitors, and consumer behavior.
· Experience in product development processes, including collaboration with R&D and supply chain teams.
· Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
· Ability to take on a significant quantity of projects while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness is essential.
· Creative mindset with strong storytelling and communication skills.
· Analytical skills to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
· Proficiency in marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Passion for beauty products and a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and sustainability in the industry.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with product lifecycle management in beauty or cosmetics.
· Familiarity with regulatory requirements for beauty products (e.g., FDA, EU standards).
· Knowledge of sustainable packaging and formulation trends in the beauty industry.
