We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer CFO to lead our company! You will help develop and execute the company's strategy and direction.
Responsibilities:
· Assisting with high-level decisions about policy and strategy.
· Overseeing the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
· Assuring legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitoring compliance with laws and regulations.
· Identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities for the company.
· Supervising the financial reporting and budgeting team.
· Helping with recruiting new staff members when necessary.
· Reviewing financial reports for ways to reduce costs.
· Working well with the CEO, COO, and Sales Director to develop the strategic plan.
· Executing the company’s financial strategy
· Developing plans for growth to increase company profit while also reducing expenditure
· Assisting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to develop financial plans
· Managing accounting procedures
· Analyzing data and creating models based on the analysis
· Monitor assigned GL accounts
· Perform general ledger account reconciliations.
· Post daily and monthly journal entries.
· Conduct monthly, quarterly, annual closings.
· Manage the Fixed Asset subledger including depreciation, additions, disposals, and transfers.
· Prepare designated reports for internal users and outside regulatory agencies.
· Perform analysis and inquiries of financial data as requested from other departments.
· Research and correct general ledger out of balances and non-post transactions.
· Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, master's degree, or MBA.
· Experience in a senior management position.
· Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.
· Experience with corporate governance.
· Proven negotiation skills.
· Experience with budget management, public accounting, and cash flow.
· Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions.
· Ability to inspire confidence and create trust.
· Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate.
· Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation
· Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
