Job Title: Industrial HVAC & Maintenance Mechanic

Position Summary:
The Industrial HVAC & Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems in an industrial environment. In addition to HVAC duties, this role will perform general industrial maintenance work on machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure to support uninterrupted operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
HVAC Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems including chillers, air handlers, and compressors.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions in HVAC systems.
- Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure HVAC systems operate in compliance with industry codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
Industrial Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment such as conveyors, pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
- Conduct preventive maintenance according to company schedules and protocols.
- Perform welding, basic electrical repairs, and general repairs as needed.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery or equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational certification preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial HVAC and maintenance roles.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Basic computer skills for work order and maintenance log documentation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Must be able to work in hot, cold, or humid environments.
- Stand, bend, stoop, or kneel for extended periods.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, may include weekends depending on facility needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
