Position: Manufacturing Supervisor
Reports To: Plant Manager
Position Summary: Arctic Industries is a leading walk-in coolers and freezers manufacturer. Arctic has two sites located strategically in Miami, Florida, and Los Angeles, CA, and we are growing rapidly. We are looking for a high-performing Manufacturing Supervisor who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with variety every day. You will be responsible for the performance of hourly production employees in the areas of safety, quality, production, and implementation of Company policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the team consistently producing at established production levels while adhering to all Company safety and quality policies
- Create and maintain manufacturing scheduling, keeping it up to date and reporting status to management daily
- Timecard management of shop employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timecard and break policies
- Daily, weekly, and monthly critical raw materials and tools review to ensure the factory operates smoothly without shortages of materials and tools
- Production of walk-in coolers to Company procedures and customer requirements
- Plan, coordinate, and execute daily tasks to maintain production levels
- Responsible for maintenance, upkeep, and housekeeping
- Expected to fully communicate across the manufacturing team and with other Company personnel
- Full reporting of any employee or equipment issues that result in reduced production levels, quality issues, or downtime
- An active role in all safety incident investigations and follow on safety improvements
- Directing and training team to work in a safe manner to set up and operate equipment to produce a product that meets the customer requirements in a cost-effective manner
- Documenting, reporting, and handling issues of concern according to Company policies and procedures
- Problem-solving product configurations and quality issues
- Manage, train, and mentor manufacturing employees
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, email)
- Available and willing to work more than 40 hours per week, including weekends, to meet business needs
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Ability to read, understand, and follow CAD drawings, work instructions, and procedures
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor in sheet metal, metal fabrication, cabinetry, appliance manufacturing, or similar industries is desirable
- Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar engineering degree is desirable
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
Language, Physical and Travel Requirements:
- Bilingual English/Spanish full fluency verbal and written required
- Extended periods of standing and performing repetitive movements
- Occasionally lifting weights of up to 50 pounds
- Geographically located within proximity to our Azusa, CA, Manufacturing Center
- Limited travel
