Role Description
This is a full-time on-site manager position located in West Covina, CA at Massage Envy. The Assistant Business Manager “ABM” is responsible for supporting the Business Manager “BM” in running the daily operations of the clinic and the clinic staff to drive and produce a profitable, professional, and safe work environment. The ABM can assist with hiring and coaching clinic staff members and trains them in all ME and Company operations and policies. The ABM will also focus on driving results of the Front Desk Sales Associate team to maximize sales results in selling

Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Coach and train customer service mindset
- Anticipate and mitigate customer service Issues
- Handle escalated customer situations
Sales
- Develop and foster a sales culture
- Maintain sales closing of 18%+

Administrative
- Process all Freezes and cancellations of memberships
- Complete required tasks such as inventory on time
- Manage membership suspensions
- Ensure compliance with state, local and corporate regulations and policies
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training employees
Qualifications
- 1-5 years of sales or spa management experience
- AA (Associate degree) or AA & BA (Bachelors) in Business is preferred.
- Schedule flexibility and availability for nights and weekends.
- Expects high standard of professionalism from themselves and their staff.
- Always looks and acts professional.
- Understands that as a member of management, you will be asked to take emergency calls at times, and while we do our best to minimize this, we do ask that you are committed to
supporting your staff
- Must be customer service oriented
- Must communicate effectively and articulately, verbal and written, and in courteous and professional manners on a regular basis. This communication can extend to members, guests, staff, Business Managers, Regional developers, Franchise owners and beyond.
- Accepts constructive criticism and use it as a tool for personal and professional growth
- Knowledge in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
