Job Summary
We’re looking for a skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician for a temporary 2-month position, with the potential for permanent full-time employment based on performance and business needs. This role will be primarily focused on HVAC systems but may also assist with general maintenance tasks throughout the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and machinery within the facility.
- Fabricate components as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers, to maintain functionality.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management.
- Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in facilities maintenance with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Ability to fabricate parts and components as required for repairs or enhancements.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in industrial settings.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising maintenance staff or projects.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical documents in English.
- Experience using CMMS for efficient maintenance management is preferred.
