Water Studio (http://wstudio.com/) is a leading design, fabrication, and installation firm specializing in contemporary water features and sculptures. We are currently seeking an exceptional TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. This is a full-time position offering health benefits and a great opportunity for growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- TIG welding of stainless steel and other metals.
- General metal surface preparation and finishing.
- Copper pipe soldering and stainless steel pipe/tube welding in shop or at site.
- Assist with misc. fabrication, mockup, and testing of water features in shop.
- Assist with on-site assembly and installation of water features.
- Assist with general shop planning and organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years experience in related field.
- Proficient in TIG welding of stainless steel.
- Experience with general metal fabrication and finishing.
- Proficient in using various hand and power tools.
- Must be able to read and understand shop drawings.
- Must have a clean driving record with a valid CA driver's license.
- Must be able to work in our shop in Culver City.
- Able to manage multiple tasks on a consistent basis.
- Excellent communication skills.
