Position Summary: As a Caregiver, you will deliver care and supervision to our residents, assisting with their needs to ensure comfort and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care and supervision to residents.
- Ensure resident safety and well-being. • Adhere to community policies and procedures.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment, performing general housekeeping tasks.
- Be trained and ready to implement emergency protocols.
Physical Requirements:
- Push residents in wheelchairs continuously.
- Engage in continuous walking, bending, and movement.
- Reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Strong English skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
- First-Aid, CPR, and/or BLS certification.
- Successful completion of Live Scan fingerprint clearance through FBI and DOJ.
- Verification of a general physical exam and TB test.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- At least 6 months of elder care or health care experience preferred.
- Willingness to work varied hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
