Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in barbering and customer service, with the ability to provide exceptional grooming services to our clients. Newly licensed barber are also welcome.This role involves not only cutting but also creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages client loyalty and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and hair styling.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering professional advice on styles and grooming.
- Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment for both clients and staff.
- Mentor junior barbers or apprentices.
- Assist in store management tasks including inventory management and maintaining the overall appearance of the barbershop.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques to provide clients with modern options.
Requirements
- Barber license or cosmetology certification.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build returning clients.
- Knowledge of various hair cutting techniques and styles.
- Experience in mentoring or training others is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation in all aspects of work.
