Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components using MIG welding techniques. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret schematics, and proficiency with hand tools and welding equipment. The MIG Welder will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality standards are met while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
- Operate MIG welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and welding tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform quality checks on welds to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in the operation of cranes and forklifts as needed for material handling.
- Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Experience
- Certification in MIG welding
- Experience with steel and aluminum fabrication
- Familiarity with shop tools including saws, shears, and punches
- The ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- A strong sense of safety, reliability, and attention to detail
Hours/ Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5AM- 3:30PM.
