We are seeking a friendly, positive person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills able to multi task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. This person will interface with guests, housekeeping, contractors, owners and management, and must be professional in appearance and in all verbal and written interactions.
The candidate will be primarily responsible for inspecting homes after check out and before check in to ensure the home is prepared to the standard required. Guest requests and complaints, including non-working internet and cable, utility issues, or other concerns will be addressed and handled with concern and professionalism by the candidate. Managing maintenance items for short and long term rentals, and meeting with contractors to ensure timely attention to maintenance issues will also be handled by the candidate.
Candidate will be a back up to the reservations team and able to respond to reservation inquiries and requests in a friendly personable manner with strong written and verbal skills when needed. Candidate will periodically use guest management software to enter reservations. The candidate may participate in submitting content for all social media including FB, Twitter, and instagram.
Candidate must be organized and able to work independently, able to handle clerical items such as written thank you’s, phone communications with guests and ordering or purchasing house supplies as needed.
Candidate must have reliable transportation, as the job requires driving to and from vacation homes, rentals, office, and supply shops.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have some college and hospitality service experience. The candidate must also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as proficiency in Word and Excel. The candidate must be able to work independently, without direct supervision or as part of a cohesive team. Must be able to think clearly, analyze and resolve problems, while exercising good judgment. Bilingual, (English/ Spanish) or Multilingual skills are an asset.
Qualifications:
• Must be friendly, upbeat, positive and able to interact well with others.
• Must be 21 years old or older to apply.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
• Must be dependable and have flexible availability to work weekends, and/or holidays based on guest check in/ out schedule.
• Must be a self starter, attention to detail, able to multi task and ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work load.
• Must be flexible in terms of working hours
• Must have reliable transportation.

Physical Aspects of Position:
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:
• Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

***This Position is flexible part-time at approximately 20 hours/week, and requires weekend work with an approximate work schedule of 5 days/week Thursday – Monday from 11A – 3P. Some evening work may also be required.
This position requires residency within 25 miles of Pasadena CA
$25/Hour
