A product manufacturing company is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their team in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This position is responsible for developing new clients as well as maintain existing clients. An AA degree or higher, 1+ years of inside sales / customer service experience in a similar industry, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required. This is a full-time, in-person, non-exempt position with excellent benefits and 401k. [Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8-5]
Inside Sales Rep Duties:
-Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new account, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
-Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
-Performs quotation processing over the phone, email and fax.
-Enter orders into the system and confirm orders to customer via email/fax.
-Process shipping instructions and packing lists to warehouse.
-Filing orders and checking customer’s open orders.
-Perform Physical Inventory when necessary.
-Back up billing role for the office and other branches when necessary.
-Support outside sales inquiry needs. (Stock and price check, open orders)
-Process quotation for outside sales.
Inside Sales Rep Skills:
-Must have an AA degree or higher
-Must have 1+ years of inside sales / customer service experience in a similar industry
-Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
-Strong interpersonal skills (both oral and written)
