Onecruit is currently hiring for a Production Planner.
JOB DESCRIPTION/Duties
Plan production control activities maintaining high quality, timely delivery and cost-effectiveness across multiple BOM levels.
Plan, schedule and monitor material movement in production cycle to ensure continuous operation using MRP action reports..
Review and maintain production orders and plans.
Ensure work order timely release and delivery of components for final assembly production orders.
Determine shortages and expedite as needed.
Maintain open work order files.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Experience/Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Production Planning
- Planning experience in Appliance or Metal Fabrication is a plus
- Strong organization with good problem solving skills
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have at minimum intermediate skill with Excel and Outlook
- Purchasing experience a plus.
- Must have ERP or MRP experience, Manage 2000 ERP experience is a plus
- Attention to detail
- Accuracy
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Duties will require 30% of time on Shop Floor (walking, climbing stairs)
- Stationary/sitting 70% of time
- Use of computer/calculator up 75% of day
Education
High School or GED required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
