Job Description:
We are currently hiring experienced and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for per diem shifts at Los Angeles Medical Center. This role supports the ICU unit (6 East) and is ideal for CNAs who are passionate about patient care and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Clinicians must have a minimum of 2 years of CNA experience within the last 5 years and must be available to work at least 2 shifts per week.
Pay Rate:
$20/hour
Requirements:
- Active CNA license in the state of California
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNA within the past 5 years
- Current BLS certification
- Must be able to commit to at least 2 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Assist with patient mobility, turning, repositioning, and transferring
- Support nursing staff in maintaining a clean and safe care environment
- Report changes in patients' conditions to nursing staff promptly
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Help ensure patient comfort and dignity during care
Schedule:
Per Diem – Minimum of 2 shifts per week
