HEIMAT Spa is currently seeking passionate, knowledgeable and experienced Nail Technician to join a new boutique-style spa in our premium club opening in Los Angeles. We aim to deliver a personalized, world class wellness and elevated-lifestyle experience to all of our guests.
Nail Technician Duties
- Perform high quality nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and specific spa services tailored to guests individual needs.
- Record detailed notes for all guests including contraindications, allergies, and polish/service preferences.
- Establish a connection and foster relationships with guests.
- Participate in HEIMAT events both outside and on the property.
- Be knowledgeable and stay up-to-date on retail/treatment offerings while actively recommending products/treatments to guests.
- Complete standard opening and closing duties in addition to assisting with basic spa needs.
- Maintain a current license per local state requirements and abide by all rules and regulations associated with licensure.
- Provide excellent high-level customer service to guests, promoting a tranquil and welcoming environment.
- Maintain a high level of sanitation and disinfection on a daily basis.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in nail care.
- State Cosmetology or Manicurist License.
- Relationship-oriented individuals that also show high self-initiative.
- Excellent customer service skills and be able to express a genuine interest in each guest and their needs.
- Must have schedule availability/flexibility to include weekends and holidays.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all natural nail care. Experience with the Dazzle Dry system is a plus but not required.
- Experience with CND gel polish is a plus but not required.
- Experience with percussive therapy tools is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and utilize new product lines.
- Team oriented and willing to contribute to the overall needs of the spa.
- Demonstrate passion for health and wellness.
- Reliable and willing to assist fellow employees with shift coverage when necessary.

Compensation: $25 per hour + Commission + Gratuity
