Culver West Health Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility that has been serving the Los Angeles community for over 40 years. We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team for all shifts. CNAs play a vital role in assisting residents with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with each resident’s individualized care plan.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Take and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Support mobility efforts, including transfers, repositioning, and range of motion exercises.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report any concerns to the nursing staff.
- Assist with medical procedures such as airway management and gastric tube feeding under supervision.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of durable medical equipment (DME).
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a healthy care environment.
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid California CNA certification in good standing.
- Completion of a nursing assistant training program or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of basic healthcare procedures and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
