Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The HVAC Technician will work in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC equipment.
Duties
- Install new HVAC systems and components according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Diagnose and repair issues with air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment.
- Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Conduct system design modifications as needed for improved efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments.
Skills
- Proficient in equipment repair and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to build and plumb HVAC systems effectively.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Experience as a service technician in the HVAC field is preferred.
- Ability to refrigerate systems effectively while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
