Position Overview
The contractor shall provide two (2) FTE OC2-A/C Operators, referred to as Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Mechanics, for a federal facility under a long-term contract. HVAC Mechanics will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems and related equipment across the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System campus.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 4 years of journeyman-level experience with industrial HVAC systems
- Ability to service, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heat pumps, chilling systems, and food storage units
- Proficiency in preventive maintenance, system calibration, pressure and temperature regulation, and diagnostics
- Ability to work independently and in teams, including installing heavy ceiling or roof-mounted units
- Experience with testing equipment, refrigerant recovery, and energy-efficient systems
