Responsibilities
- Assist stylists with various tasks, including preparing clients for services and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients warmly and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
- Support hair extension applications and other beauty treatments under the guidance of experienced stylists.
- Engage in upselling salon products and services to clients, utilizing retail sales techniques effectively.
- Maintain knowledge of current beauty trends, techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Assist with makeup application, and other salon services as needed.
- Handle retail math transactions accurately during product sales.
Experience
- Previous experience in a salon or beauty environment is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn.
- Familiarity with hair extensions, makeup application, and retail sales will be considered an asset.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage clients positively.
- A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to grow within the field of cosmetology.
