We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive BDC Representative to join our dynamic team. As an Automotive BDC Representative, you will play a crucial role in generating sales leads, managing customer inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. Your goal will be to convert leads into appointments and drive business growth for our automotive dealership.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
- Engage with potential customers, qualify their needs, and provide accurate information about our vehicles, services, and promotions.
- Schedule sales appointments for customers to visit the dealership.
- Follow up with leads and customers to maintain contact and build relationships.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless communication and smooth customer handoffs.
- Meet or exceed monthly targets for lead conversion and appointment setting.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitors' offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns or issues.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve lead generation and conversion strategies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ yr. experience in BDC Department.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and maintain relationships.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with Reynolds and Reynolds software.
- Results-oriented mindset with a drive to meet and exceed targets.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of automotive products, features, and specifications is an asset.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
