Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with a focus on both installation and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently in various environments. As an HVAC Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with HVAC equipment, providing effective solutions for repairs.
- Perform equipment repairs and replacements as necessary, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to design efficient HVAC systems tailored to client specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all safety regulations.
Skills
- Proficient in equipment repair and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques relevant to HVAC systems.
- Experience as a service technician or in field service roles is preferred.
- Ability to design efficient HVAC solutions based on client needs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
