Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team. The HVAC Installer will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and operate efficiently.
Duties
- Install HVAC systems according to specifications and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling systems to diagnose problems effectively.
- Work with refrigerants and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Plumb new installations as required, ensuring proper connections and functionality.
- Weld components when necessary to ensure secure fittings.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on property maintenance projects as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or Service Technician.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with refrigeration processes and plumbing techniques.
- Experience in welding is a plus but not mandatory.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
- Commitment to safety practices and procedures in all aspects of work.
