Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in field service, specifically within the HVAC industry. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The technician will work with various equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including boilers and ammonia refrigeration units.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand system designs.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Perform equipment repairs and replacements as necessary, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to design effective HVAC solutions tailored to client needs.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system performance and maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs or installations.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with field service operations related to HVAC installation and repair.
- Experience working with boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and other related equipment is preferred.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documents accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge of plumbing principles as they relate to HVAC systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
