We blend trichology, scalp detox treatments, and cutting-edge wellness technology to support each client’s hair journey. We are expanding into a new space that is associated with our hair salon , âme , and looking for a passionate professional to join us in redefining scalp care.
Role Overview: The Scalp Wellness Associate is a licensed cosmetologist with a passion for scalp health, wellness, and client care. You will support the founder and trichologist by delivering specialized scalp services, assisting with treatment protocols, educating clients, and ensuring a serene, results-driven experience. This is a client-facing role perfect for someone looking to move beyond traditional salon work into the world of scalp therapy and non-surgical hair restoration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform luxurious scalp detox services using Yume Head Spa Bowls, blow drying, and regenerative-based treatments (training provided)
- Support customized targeted protocols (including topical treatments, CRLAB therapies, Alma TED non surgical hair restoration services, etc.)
- Educate clients on home care and product use
- Assist with client follow-ups and session documentation
- Maintain treatment room cleanliness, tools, and product inventory
- Create a calm, welcoming environment that aligns with the âme brand
- Attend provided ongoing training in scalp health and trichology-informed services
Qualifications:
- Current California Cosmetology License
- Strong interest in trichology (scalp health, hair loss, and holistic care)
- Comfort with one-on-one client sessions and hands-on treatments
- Excellent communication, professionalism, customer service, and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn protocols rooted in trichology and wellness
- Previous salon or spa experience is preferred but not required
- Bonus: Experience or interest in wellness, some knowledge of hair loss, hairstyling.
