SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Shift-6:00 am-2:30 PM
The Polisher is responsible for polishing manufactured sculptures. The Polisher will have a strong familiarity with using orbital sanders and buffers with liquid compounds.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Polish to a clear and reflective surface, bronze, copper, brass, and aluminum through basic automotive color sanding and polishing techniques.
Maintain a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive routine
Consistently deliver pieces with a short turnaround time
Rotating through tasks for specific production processes
Conduct quality inspections on products and parts
Prepare finished products for shipment
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety protocols
Candidate must be a self starter and able to evaluate their own work for quality and completeness
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Some experience automotive paint finishing or sculpture required
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields preferred
Familiarity with polishing tools and equipment preferred
Ability to handle physical workload
Ability to work well in teams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Eager to take on responsibility with a personal sense of accountability
SuMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Bench Jeweler is responsible for the make and repair of manufactured jewelry. The Bench Jeweler will have knowledge and experience in various facets of jewelry manufacturing including but not limited to silversmithing, gold smithing, engraving, fabrication, wax carving, and polishing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Raw casting of new pieces of jewelry from molds
• File fine jewelry and prepare for polishing, straightening parts, rounding, and sizing rings, and assembling various parts together using solder of the metal being worked on
• Assemble customized pieces or create many products that follow the same design specifications using your hands and/or hand tools to do basic assembly on jewelry
• Ability to restore old or damaged jewelry, adjust already-created jewelry for size or customize jewelry
• Maintain a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive routine
• Consistently deliver pieces with a short turnaround time
• Rotating through tasks for specific production processes
• Conduct quality inspections on products and parts
• Prepare finished products for shipment
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety protocols
QUALIFICATIONS
• One-year experience in jewelry production preferred
• Previous experience in multiple manufacturing skills including, but not limited to silversmithing, gold smithing, engraving, fabrication, wax carving, and polishing preferred
• Familiarity with casting, soldering, and polishing tools and equipment preferred
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to work well in teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
