*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fitting metal components to assemble structural forms.
*Responsibilities*
- Perform welding tasks using various methods such as GTAW,FCAW and GMAW welding and plasma cutting
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications including layout and weld symbols and procedures
- Operate hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble metal structures
- Utilize rigging equipment, cranes, and forklifts for material handling
- Conduct quality checks to ensure welded components meet project standards
*Skills*
- Proficiency in FCAW, GMAW, GTAW welding and plasma cutting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Experience with a variety of hand and power tools used in metal fabrication
- Familiarity with rigging equipment, cranes, and forklifts
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand structural requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
