Job Overview
We are pleased to announce we are growing and are seeking dedicated and experienced residential electricians to lead residential new construction projects.
The ideal candidate will possess motivational leadership skills, detail oriented, has strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of residential wiring ensuring that projects are completed quickly and left clean. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for managing/working with a small team of electricians, maintaining high standards of quality, and ensuring compliance with safety, and code regulations.
Duties
- Supervise/lead a team of electricians on residential construction sites, ensuring tasks are completed according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and addendum’s/options in executing tasks accurately.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct inspection of work to insure it’s done accurately.
- Ability to train team members on proper wiring techniques, use of power/hand tools including the use of a voltmeter for electrical tasks.
- Collaborate with project managers to insure schedules are met.
- Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Well versed in wiring multi-family, tract housing, and custom homes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the residential wiring construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction, and process.
- Familiarity and proficient with reading blue prints and option details.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced environments.
- Must be able to efficiently wire residential projects with little to no supervision.
- Complete understanding of wire sizes for residential equipment.
- Able to troubleshoot circuits and make corrections effectively and accurately.
- 3+ years of residential wiring is required
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
