Role Overview:
We are seeking a Ceramics Apprentice, a budding craftsman with a steady hand, a discerning eye, and passion for the craft.
This apprenticeship is both a place of learning and a path of mastering. You will work alongside experienced makers and designers, learning the process of transforming raw materials into handcrafted lighting objects and contributing to both production and prototyping. As you learn techniques from form assembly and finishing, you will play a vital role in shaping the foundation of our creations to help ensure each piece reflects both structural integrity and aesthetic intention.
The role is designed for those who believe that craft is a discipline and a dedication. It is for those who see value in repetition as refinement, and in the quiet dialogue between hand and material. You’ll contribute meaningfully to the studio while developing a skill set that anchors future mastery.
The Ceramics Apprenticeship is a 1-Month Intensive focused on assessing both fit and skill, with the intent to transition to a full time role in our Ceramics Department at the end of the program.
This role is hiring on a rolling basis.
