Function in the JobVery heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Job Function- Perform **preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, including cranes, welding equipment, and material handling systems.
- Conduct **welding and fabrication repairs on metal structures and equipment.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair warehouse infrastructure (doors, conveyors, lighting, etc.).
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance protocols.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment conditions.
- Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
Required Skills- 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the Metals Industry.
- Technical training/certification in electrical systems, mechanical repairs, welding, and crane maintenance**.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
- Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and metal fabrication.
- Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, and heavy machinery repairs.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment (climbing, lifting, etc.).
- OSHA or other safety certifications are a plus.
Compensation RangeThe anticipated compensation for this position is USD $55,000.00/Yr. - USD $60,000.00/Yr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
