A Full-Service Medical Group with multiple locations, is searching for a Bilingual Medical Assistant with Back Office experience that can start ASAP!
The Medical Assistant will assist and support the physicians and medical staff by performing patient care duties to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for patients. Duties include greeting patients, assist provider during exams, take patient vital signs, EKG’s, utilize computer to record patient’s data and other duties as assigned.
Must be comfortable working at their other sites, Baldwin Hills, Crenshaw, Hawthorne and Lennox, but will be primarily working out of 1 location.
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $24.00/hr. DOE
Shift: Monday - Friday / 8:00AM – 5:00PM
City: Los Angeles, CA
Medical Assistant Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1year Medical Assistant experience in a clinical environment
- Bilingual - Fluent in English and Spanish
- Medical Assistant Diploma is required
- Phlebotomy Certification a plus
- Current CPR Certification
- Proficient in using computer and EMR software
- High School Diploma is required
