1st Shift: Monday–Saturday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Compensation: Up to $32.50/hr + $2.25 shift differential (3rd shift)

Overtime: Required — Expect 10+ hours/week, including 3–4 Saturdays/month
Job Overview
A well-established manufacturing facility in the Industry, CA area is hiring two Maintenance Mechanics (one for 1st shift and one for 3rd shift). These roles are ideal for mechanically inclined professionals looking to grow in a people-oriented, safety-first environment with strong potential for internal promotion.
In this role, you’ll spend about 80% of your time on mechanical troubleshooting and 20% on basic electrical work, supporting industrial equipment used in the production of large-scale aluminum products such as trailers and commercial components.
What You’ll Do
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues involving hydraulics, pneumatics, belts, sprockets, chains, and more
Perform basic electrical troubleshooting: read schematics, replace sensors, and work with AC/DC voltage
Inspect, test, and maintain production equipment for functionality and safety
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams in a unionized environment
Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols
Must-Have Qualifications
At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience (or 1.5+ with strong hands-on skills)
Proficiency with mechanical systems, especially hydraulics
Ability to read electrical schematics and perform basic electrical troubleshooting
Comfortable working in a union environment
High school diploma or GED
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Prior experience in extrusion or metal fabrication
Familiarity with aluminum manufacturing processes
Previous work in unionized facilities
