We are seeking a Welder Fabricator to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.
Responsibilities:
Perform welding duties using a wire welder, cutting torch and plasma. Heli Arc is a plus.
Weld steel components with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work
orders, or verbal instructions.
Work includes set-up, laying out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or
rework finished products.
Work with fitters or fitters/welders to assist in the fabrication or welding of multi-component parts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work on verbal instructions and drawings is an absolute must
Other Requirements:
- Field work is required
- Overtime is readily available, must be willing to work weekends and OT when needed.
- Majority of work is done in mining and aggregate facilities.
- Majority of our work is heavier metal and wear plate.
- Must be able to work day or swing shift as needed
- Must be self-motivated and hard working. Ability to work unsupervised is a plus.
- Prior experience with quarries/mines/aggregate facilities and industrial repairs is a huge plus
- Pay rate is based on experience
