The Hire Mark is recruiting an HVAC installer in Monterey Park.
As an Installer, you’ll be responsible for installing and servicing residential HVAC systems with precision and care, ensuring top-quality workmanship and exceptional customer satisfaction in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine equipment layout and installation requirements.
Connect HVAC systems to appropriate power sources (electrical, gas, refrigerant), ensuring proper grounding and sealing.
Test systems for leaks, pressure, and performance using appropriate diagnostic tools; adjust settings to ensure optimal functionality and energy efficiency.
Collaborate with installation coordinators, managers, sales supervisors, and other trades (e.g., electricians, plumbers) to ensure seamless project execution and integration with other building systems.
Educate clients on system operation, maintenance practices, and energy-saving tips to ensure long-term performance and satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, system specifications, photos, and customer interactions.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
Maintain a clean and organized job site, including tools, equipment, and service vehicle, to promote efficiency and safety.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair in residential settings.
Solid understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices, including ductwork, refrigeration lines, electrical connections, and ventilation.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals accurately.
Familiarity with local HVAC codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, testing instruments, and HVAC-specific equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with team members and customers.
Physically capable of performing the demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to complete paperwork and job documentation accurately.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel to job sites as needed.
