Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of office operations
Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement
Manage office budget and expenses, including monitoring and reconciling accounts
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Ensure compliance with financial concepts, GAAP, AIA, and governmental accounting standards
Perform technical accounting tasks such as journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial analysis
Utilize accounting software QuickBooks to manage financial transactions
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and provide necessary documentation
Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations
Supervise administrative staff and provide guidance and support as needed
Manage Union workers payroll benefits
Manage and improve cross department communication
Openly communicate with Sr. Project Manager and Field Operations Manager about billing and contract issues.
Maintain tax records/payments.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an office manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, GAAP, and governmental accounting standards
- Proficient in using accounting software such as Quicken and QuickBooks
- Excellent 10-key typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
