This role is essential in helping our team reconcile at least three months of bank records across multiple branches, as well as manage E-Business income and credit card transactions. Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience performing accurate and timely bank reconciliations and managing financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently.
- Process and record financial transactions into accounting software.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in account balances.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
- Assist with general administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
