Burke Installer/ Shop Woodworker
Skills and Education:
Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
The understanding of typical construction processes, including tools, tasks, and roles involved in hands-on work
Knowledge of millwork installation. Cabinetry, wall panels, columns, ceiling beams, and scribing.
Experience and willingness to work at the shop. Cabinetry, Assembly, Joinery, using shop equipment
Meets productivity standards. Completes work promptly; Strives to increase productivity.
Ability and willingness to travel across California
Ability and desire to learn and utilize new software
Responsibilities:
Being able to commute to the shop in El Monte.
Burke Interiors provides transportation to the job site.
Followthe shop drawings provided by Burke Interiors
Layout & install cabinetry, cabinet doors, cabinet hardware, drawer boxes, passage doors, wall paneling, and coffered ceilings. all millwork, etc.
We fabricate and install cabinets and architectural millwork with the most exceptional work in the highest quality homes in Orange County and Commercial Projects (ex, Restaurants, Casinos, Offices)
You will utilize a variety of hand tools to cut/shape/modify and install finished wood/millwork products, verifying dimensions are to specification.
You will thoroughly clean the work areas of assigned jobs at the end of each day.
Ensure work is completed by the latest revision of issued for construction (IFC) drawings, specifications, Request for Information (RFIs), and other project design information.
Notes:
You will be reimbursed for all travel expenses and provided per diem expenses for meals, etc, while traveling (by company policies).
