Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a strong understanding of CDK software and excellent communication skills to effectively handle customer inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
Duties
- Process and record incoming payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain accounts receivable records, ensuring all transactions are documented according to standards.
- Handle collections, including follow-up on overdue accounts
- Communicate with clients via phone, demonstrating professional phone etiquette while addressing inquiries or disputes regarding their accounts.
- Collaborate with the accounts payable department to ensure seamless financial operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role is preferred.
- Experience with CDK is highly desirable.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective client interaction.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
