To support our efforts Land Mark Electric, Inc. is looking to add Top Talent to our Team; we currently have openings for Trainee Electricians, Journeyman Electricians and Supervisor .
Electricians Requirements:
- Pass drug screen/test
- Trainee Card from the State of California
Candidates for the Apprentice Electrician must have a current Trainee Card from the State of California and be enrolled in the Electrical Trainee Program(EMPLOYER WILL VERIFY ET CARDS BEFORE HIRING). Journeyman/Journeywoman Electricians and Supervisor must be a current State of California Certified General Electrician.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The employee may require the ability to do the following;
- Lift 50 lbs. from the ground and pull 50 lbs. of force.
- Perform ladder climbing, wire pulling and conduit bending.
- Fully squat, stoop or kneel while wearing a 25 lbs. tool belt.
- Maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires, operating power tools and equipment.
- Work from heights off of ladders, man lifts or reach booms.
While performing duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to the following;
- A variety of weather conditions including cold, heat, rain, etc.
- High noise levels
Trainee Electrician Duties-
- Prepare work area for installation of conduit and wiring systems
- Installs or helps to install electrical systems
- Connects wiring per plans and directions
- Sets up and operates tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers and tuggers, impact drills
- Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances per plans
- Secure and lock up equipment after use
- Transport tools and materials as required
- Must have active ET card
Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician Duties-
- All of the duties listed above, plus
- Ability to operate equipment once trained and certified
- Ability to work independently and direct apprentice electricians
- A proven track record of delivering safe electrical installations which exceed budgets
- Able to read blueprints, single line diagrams and provide input for layout plans
- Strong knowledge of Building Codes
- Must be license
Supervisor Duties-
- All of the duties listed in apprentice and Journeyman/Journeywoman duties, plus
- Managing and providing leadership for Safety and Environmental Programs
- Monitoring job costing, quality, forecasting and productivity
- Coordinating manpower, materials and equipment
- Completing field administration: timesheets, production reports, purchase requests, daily job reports
- Organizing and coordinating subcontractor activities
- Implementing and monitoring the construction plan, including scheduling and logistics
- Supervising and mentoring field personnel (15+ electricians)
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent knowledge of building codes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
