We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Hair Stylist Booth Renter to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair care and styling, along with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for crafting stunning hairstyles, offering expert consultations, and ensuring clients leave the salon feeling confident and satisfied. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to staying on top of the latest hair trends.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, and styling, to meet client needs.
- Offer consultations to clients to understand their desired looks and suggest suitable services.
- Keep your workstation clean and organized while adhering to salon hygiene standards.
- Utilize salon software, such as MINDBODY, for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
- Assist with front desk tasks, including greeting clients, answering calls, and handling retail sales.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in hair extensions, nail care, and barbering techniques.
- Build lasting relationships with clients through exceptional service and communication.
- Promote salon products to enhance the client experience and boost retail sales.
Requirements:
- Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist in a professional salon environment.
- Familiarity with salon software, especially Meevo, is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong communication with clients.
- Knowledge of hair extension techniques and nail care services is a plus.
- Experience with straight razor techniques is a plus but not required.
- Flexibility to work hours that may include weekends as needed.
