Responsibilities
- Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet the diverse needs of clients.
- Offer additional services such as hair threading, makeup application, and nail care as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and effective communication.
- Mentor junior stylists or interns, sharing your knowledge and skills to foster their professional growth.
- Assist in store management tasks when required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the salon.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty techniques to provide clients with innovative options.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification is required.
- Proven experience in hair styling, with skills in barbering being a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience in mentoring or training others is desirable.
- Knowledge of additional beauty services such as makeup application and nail care is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
